It’s a great opportunity to socialize, extend your network, share stories about the freelancing lifestyle and have fun together with other professionals, who use Upwork in Nairobi.

Location & Address: Java House, Thika Road, TRM Mall

Costs: Upwork Huddle is an independently organized and hosted meetup, and is not an official Upwork event. It is free of cost to attend the event. However, any personal expenses, that may include food and/or beverages are to be covered by each attendee individually. Attendees are expected to have at least $6 to cater their own food and drinks at the restaurant.

Can I bring a friend who's interested to join Upwork or a family member?

The event is invite-only. Upwork sends the invites to local Top Rated and Rising Talent freelancers on the hosts’ behalf. We would like to save seats for Upwork-registered talent who have been invited and registered for the event.

Note: Please register ONLY if you plan to attend the Huddle. The number of seats is limited and we would like to give the opportunity to freelancers who plan to attend.

Will Upwork pay for food and drinks at the event?

The costs are typically personal expenses, which may include food and/or beverages. Any personal expenses are to be covered by each attendee individually.
