Mike Jornlin began his writing career as a copywriter and then social media coordinator and blog editor for a leading online retailer of Halloween costumes and party supplies. He began working as a freelance French-to-English translator and editor in 2009. He signed up for Upwork as a freelancer in 2017 and joined the Upwork team in 2018. Among other responsibilities, he manages the Upwork Community Blog, edits videos for the Community team, and serves as a resident Star Wars Expert.
